Ribomoval® rRNA Depletion Kit (Plant) uses RNase H digestion to remove ribosomal RNA from total RNA of plant roots, seeds, and leaves (including 25S, 18S, 5S and mitochondrial rRNA 26S, 18S; chloroplast rRNA 23S, 16S), preserving mRNA and other non-coding RNA information (lncRNA, circRNA, etc.). This kit achieves good rRNA removal for both intact and partially degraded RNA; RNA obtained after rRNA removal can be used for high-throughput sequencing analysis of mRNA and non-coding RNA, significantly increasing the proportion of usable data in sequencing results.

Case Analysis

Study 1: Validation by High-throughput SequencingRibomoval® rRNA Depletion Kit (Plant) rRNA Depletion Efficiency

Three replicates were taken for each experiment1 μg Arabidopsis/rice/tomato/maize/soybean total RNA were treated with the Ribomoval® rRNA Depletion Kit (Plant) and the N company kit to remove rRNA, and libraries were prepared using Gensai Bio’s independently developed RNA library preparation kit (#S05). Post-sequencing data were aligned to the corresponding genome databases.

The results show that the Ribomoval® rRNA Depletion Kit (Plant) achieves significant removal of rRNA from 1 μg Arabidopsis/rice/tomato/maize/soybean total RNA. Compared with the N company kit, the Ribomoval® rRNA Depletion Kit (Plant) exhibits a lower rRNA residual rate and superior removal performance.
