GENESEED® RNA-seq Library Prep Kit for Illumina is a dedicated kit for strand-specific whole-transcriptome library construction. The kit employs an optimized workflow and reaction system to improve library conversion efficiency, provides uniform coverage across varying input RNA amounts, and can complete library preparation within 4 hours. The kit can interface with Poly(A)-based mRNA enrichment kits and rRNA depletion kits to construct sequencing libraries. Strand specificity is achieved by using high-fidelity DNA polymerase that cannot amplify uracil-containing DNA templates. All reagents provided in this kit undergo rigorous quality control and functional validation to maximize the stability and reproducibility of library construction.
Scope of application
GENESEED® RNA-seq Library Prep Kit for Illumina is suitable for strand-specific library construction from high-quality total RNA of eukaryotes such as animals, plants, and fungi, from mRNA enriched by Poly(A) selection, and from rRNA-depleted RNA. The proportions of mRNA, lncRNA, and circRNA vary significantly among total RNA samples from different sources. The required input amount is related to the upstream module:
