The Ribomoval® rRNA Depletion Kit (Human/Mouse/Rat) uses RNase H digestion to remove ribosomal RNA from human, mouse, and rat total RNA (including 28S, 18S, 5.8S, 5S and mitochondrial rRNA 16S, 12S), retaining mRNA and other non-coding RNA information (lncRNA, circRNA, etc.). This kit provides effective rRNA removal for both intact and partially degraded RNA. RNA obtained after rRNA depletion can be used for high-throughput sequencing analysis of mRNA and non-coding RNA, significantly increasing the proportion of usable data in sequencing results.

Study 1: Validation by High-Throughput Sequencing
Ribomoval® rRNA Depletion Kit (Human/Mouse/Rat) rRNA Removal Efficiency
Three replicates taken for each experiment
1 μg and 0.1 μg Human/Mouse/Rat total RNA were subjected to rRNA removal using the Ribomoval® rRNA Depletion Kit and the K company kit. Samples with and without rRNA removal were then constructed into libraries using Gensai Bio’s self-developed RNA library preparation kit (#S05), sequenced, and compared against their respective genome databases.
Comparison chart of rRNA retention rates
The data show that the Ribomoval® rRNA Depletion Kit achieves significant rRNA removal from 1 μg and 0.1 μg Human/Mouse/Rat total RNA. Compared with the K company kit, the Ribomoval® rRNA Depletion Kit has a lower rRNA retention rate and superior depletion performance.
